Traditional crimes:

“Those acts upon which criminal justice agencies—and criminologists—have typically focused their energies, such as interpersonal violence, theft, burglary, the use and distribution of illegal substances, public order offences, and so on” (Oxford University Press, 2013) .

Example of the traditional crimes:

  1. recorded property crime
  2. rape
  3. robberies
  4. assaults
  5. kidnapping, etc
